General Definition of Work

This role involves overseeing the district's academic services, staff development, and curriculum programs, while also managing student services and providing leadership development for principals. The position works closely with the Superintendent and the Board of Education on strategic planning, setting policies, and establishing goals. It includes supervising department staff and collaborating with directors across Student Services, Federal Programs, Exceptional Children, Secondary Education, Career and Technical Education, and Elementary Education. The role ensures guidance and direction for various programs impacting all students, with additional responsibilities as needed.
